I set up a full enamelling studio right in your space, kiln, screens, stencils, and glass in every colour. I walk your group through making real, wearable jewellery from scratch. No experience needed. Just table space and a few hours together.
What We're Making
Everyone leaves with two finished pieces: a pair of earrings or two pendants, fired, finished, and ready to wear home that same day.
Enamelling is one of the oldest techniques in jewellery making. You layer powdered glass onto metal and fire it in a kiln until it melts into colour, smooth, glossy, and permanent. It looks like magic the first time you see a dull grey powder come out of the kiln glass-bright. I'll show your group exactly how it's done, and then everyone gets to do it themselves.
How the Session Runs
Choose your piece. Earrings or pendants, and pick your colours and shapes.
Layer the enamel. I'll walk everyone through dusting and placing the glass by hand.
Fire it up. Each piece goes into the kiln, and we watch the transformation together.
Finish and assemble. Once everything's cooled, I help each person put their findings on and finish their piece.
Time together, and everyone walks out wearing something they made.

Group size 6 to 9 people
Length Half day (2.5 to 3 hours)
Price $90 per person. Booked as a group of 6 minimum (billed for 6 even if fewer attend), up to 9 maximum.
Location Your space, anywhere I can get to with a folding table
What's included
Every material, every tool, and all the instruction. That means:
All enamelling materials and equipment (I bring my own kiln and pickle)
Findings, so pieces are finished and ready to wear
A take-home handout with the steps, so the technique sticks
Two finished pieces per person: a pair of earrings or two pendants
What I need from you
Just space. A table spot for each guest, plus enough room to set up the folding table I bring. You look after the drinks and snacks. I bring the art and the entertainment.
Booking Basics
Deposit: A 50% deposit secures your date, with the balance due the day of the workshop.
Headcount: Final numbers are due one week before the session. You're welcome to add guests up to the 9-person maximum after booking, space permitting, but the group can't go below 6 without the minimum still applying.
Rescheduling: Life happens. Reschedule with at least 7 days' notice and your deposit carries over to the new date.
Cancellations: Cancellations inside 7 days forfeit the deposit, since materials (and my life) are prepped in advance for your group size.
Travel: Sessions are based across the GTA. Bookings outside that area may carry a small travel fee, quoted when you enquire.
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes and no loose, dangling sleeves, just a sensible precaution around the kiln and powders.
FAQ
Do we need any experience? None at all. Most guests have never touched glass powders or a kiln before their workshop.
Is it safe? Yes. I run every step, and the kiln is handled by me throughout. You're welcome to get hands-on with the enamelling itself.
Can kids join? Depends on the kid. Some 8 year olds are capable of this, some 12 year olds aren’t. They’ll need some manual dexterity, steady hands, lots of patience, and the attention span for 2.5 hours of work. You make the call.
What if it's a mixed-skill group? Perfect, actually. Sessions scale naturally, and I keep an eye on everyone so beginners and more experienced guests are equally looked after.
